I'm gonna try this recipe next sounds like a good one........Question, I see the recipe calls for no sugar added and I'm looking for more yeild from my wash so if I added some what would be a good amount as to not mess with the flavor.........Confused

Hi poppy-cob I am using this recipe next also, No sugar though. If I were to I would use no more than 6 pounds. You could use more buy I think it would effect the output. There are calculations on amount of sugar and SG but I've not got into it that deeply.

Hokey, I have mostly 5L bbls and one 20L as you can see in the pics but one of them is on it's 4th refill and it has produced the best so far.......it seems that the first fill produces the harshest hooch as one would expect so I've started emptying first run at 2 months and it's still better than any store bought stuff........I've read that some of the big boys don't use new bbls and start with second run bbls..(Makers Mark) My goal is 3 months on 3rd run bbls.........dats da bess poppy cob likker de is....IMHO
