"Here's an interesting new drink---do you think it'd be better as a shot or a cocktail?

Coffee Buzz (shot or cocktail)

1 part Absinthe Mata Hari
2 parts Kahlua
2 parts Irish Cream Liqueur

Fill a shaker with ice and add all ingredients. Shake well and strain into a shot glass (for shot) or Collins glass filled with ice (for cocktail)."

"A quick note (might also help your drink idea there).
Absinthe is only ""half the drink its meant to be"" when out of the bottle. Its an aromatic drink, heavily based on volatile oils. In its base alcohol content the oils are dissolved in the alcohol, you need to bring the alcohol content down (using water, or any other non alcoholic fluid) to the point where the oils rebind on a molecular level. The slower this is done the more even the rebinding seems to be. Only then you get the real smell, flavor and ""pow"" out of the drink.

hate to see good alcohol go to waste Wink"
