Has anyone tried one of those sweet feed receips?? Just any old sweet feed or can you recomend a brand if its really worth it.???

I've only been doing this a short time, but from what i just read on sweet feed, it's just feed with molasses added. I did see a online feed store that was selling dried molasses for $20 a 50lb bag.

yeah, I tried it once. very difficult, the feed wants to almost solidify in the bottom of the fermenter. when trying to strain through pillow case it plugs it almost immediately. never again

yup like you said what a mess with that dam pillow case. Threw some heads etc in with it . Pot stilled and a crystal clear product not to bad . Go figure
