Does anyone know if you need to perform the starch conversion process for waste bakery products (old bread, donuts, pasta, etc), or can you go directly from dilution to distillation?

Sorry, I meant from dilution to "fermentation" (not distillation)...my bad.

The enzyme Amylase chops starches to sugars
Look for Alpha-Amylase and Gluco-Amylase
