Sugar makes vodka. It's not bad it's just a fact. It doesn't contribute to taste.I was looking for flavor in my wine and my brandy. Here's what I've come to in my experimentation.Four cans of walmart grape concentrate,80 oz. water 1 camden tablet.Iuse champagne yeast it's quick and ferments to a high alcohol level.Rack after about a 10 day period when fermentation has slowed. Place bubbler on bottle and continue to work until it falls clear and fermentation has stopped.Chill in the fridge and kill the yeast with yeast killer.Drink 12 ounces and replace it with a can of grape juice concentrate for flavor.Makes a good grapey wine at about $7.50 to $8.50 a gallon.

I tried it once but had no luck with it so I abandoned further testing.
