I am getting ready to make my first batch of wine (have never done that before) - I saw a post online (making Apple-Jack) that said something about bringing your mix to 148-160 degrees on the stove for a few minutes to allow the Methyl alcohol (methanol) to vaporize and leave the pot. Does this work for wine as well? Making 4 gallons from 100% Apple Juice - I have heard horror stories about wine hangovers and just wondering if this could be a way around it?

Thanks for any help here, I am a newbie to wine.
