So I'm new to all this.

My first 2 batches were just sugar washes. Only thing extra I added was 48 ounces of raisins to both. They both fermented for 12-13 (bubbling every 2-3 seconds) days before stopping. From my understanding that's about perfect.

Now. I'm on my 3rd batch. Same recipe as before, 5 gallon distilled water. 8 pounds of sugar. Yeast. 48 ounces raisins. 4 1/2 tablespoons of yeast.

But this time I added 4 containers of frozen juice concentrate to try getting flavor, and I also added powdered fermentation nutrients (5 tablespoons, 1 per gallon as per instructions)

It took off like a bat out of hell, nonstop bubbling for 2 days, then it started dropping off and stopped completely last night. 4 days total fermentation.

Is this batch going to be useable?
Did it make up for the extra 8 days of fermentation by running fast?

I'm curious of if I should dump it or run it.

Any advice would be welcome.

Did you measure your starting Specific Gravity??? Where is it at now? If fermentation is complete you should be just under 1.00....appr. 0.980 or somewhere there. Just like making wine.

Update, sorry it took so long. It's actually one of my best runs yet.
