I have finished my two stripping runs and then my final run. Spirits around 192%. I am ready to do the carbon filtering ,I have the Brewhaus carbon filter kit,. Can the spirits be filtered without being cut?

I want to retain some around 140 proof. Please advise on cutting with distilled water and what percentage I can get by with and still get good filtering with the carbon.

Thanks again to everyone for all the help in getting me started!

Travis, you can filter it without cutting it,but it wont do much.Filter the 140 proof you want to keep, then cut the rest to what ever proof you want, then filter. The stuff is pretty clean to begin with.It will clean up the heads/tails parts or the run some, once there cut.Read the gert strand link on carbon filtering. Its link is on the brewhaus site.
