"Just got a new Brewhaus kettle after a two month wait. I open it and it looks great but I saw a gasket under the rim of the lid.

I called and asked the lady that answered the phone what it was made of - her answer was silicone BigGrin Any one have any thoughts on this? Did you use the gasket or replace with cork or something else?"
