Hello,
This is Gregg from leipers fork distillery
When ever we run a high rye grain bill (1,528lb)
We get excessive burping of the mash in the ferm tanks which are 1200gl we put 1000gl of mash in the last two times we've come in and have mash all over the place. Just curious about the rye ?
Thank you in advance

I always leave extra room in the fermenter when using a high rye grain bill and also leave more room in the boiler due to it puking sometimes, although I'm not on the same scale as you. Good luck on your venture
