Rank: Newbie Reputation: Groups: Registered Joined: 6/21/2016(UTC) Posts: 1		Hi All Been distilling with a home made still, the usual stainless beer keg set up for quite a number of years. Here there is no government regulation except if I sell commercially then I have to pay the Customs duty rate. That's it. I'm not far off retirement age,and I intend purchasing a rig from Brewhaus and a 26 gallon kettle; with view to turning my hobby into a retirement business. My object is enjoyment, and not to lose money. Mostly everything has to be imported by sea here. For example to import from the U.S. our freight forwarder is in Miami. The route is then to Rio Grande, Montevideo then onto the Falklands. I'll sign off now All the best wish to one and all Taff Davies

I've never had the pleasure to meet the acquaintance of someone from the Falkland Islands! From what I can gather, you have fewer people in the Falkland Islands than I have in my small, rural town (~10 K) ... but you're about 10 times our size ... at least! I don't mean to bore you ... but I'd love to hear a thing or two about your islands & folks. It's one of those places that I'd love to visit ... but I know I probably never will. Regards, --JB
