Hello -

I am looking forward to learning from everyone. I am a wine maker dabbling into distillation with a few buddies. I made a 5 gal pot still last summer and have progressed to a (15 gal) beer keg pot still for this coming summer. Someday I may add a column to it but I figure one step at a time.

I hope to make corn whiskey by following a recipe I found at - - -
Corn whiskey recipe link

So far I have 50 lbs of cracked corn and 10 lbs of "distillers malted barley" that I got from a local brewing shop. If you have advice - I will be glad to take it or suggested threads that might be a good starting point. I anticipate I will be cooking my mash in mid June, distilling a week or two later.

Thanks in advance.

Lu
