Does adding glycerin actualy smooth finished product? If so what is the recomended amount for 750ml or 1000ml?

Yes, glycerine will smooth your spirit. I put 4 ml in 750 ml of a molassas based spirit. It is a fantastic white rum liqour.

is there any advantages to adding it
when using essences,or strait to a turbo/surgar
based spirit

many commercial vodkas have it, so yes it thickens/smoothens without sweetening

I AM USING IT IN ALMOST EVEY BATCH WETHER A NEUTRAL SPIRIT OR AN ESSCENSE FLAVORED ONE AND IT IS SWEET PARDON THE PUN!
