Is it expensive to have stainless welded to stainless? I don't want to be ripped off because I'm a girl. Ya know? I have two, 2' x 2" sections of pipe I want welded into one 4' section of pipe. What is a round about figure this should cost? Thanks much in advance for your opinions.

Where are you located? If it is just a matter of butt-welding the two pipes then it is not more than 20 minutes, including polishing and testing... but most welding shops will charge a minimum of 1hr. If you cannot find a reasonable rate then contact me directly and we can see what the cost would be including shipping each way- it may still save you some money.
