I am building a pot still from a 15 gallon keg. What BTU output should I be looking at when buying a burner for the boiler. I am planning on using propane.

For my dollar it was the Blichmann Brewer burner. Exquisite control of the flame over that of a turkey fryer or other burner. Heavy too, solid base the for keg, and miserly on the fuel use..

I'l second Red's recommendation. I use the Blichmann burner for brewing ... it's a dandy. It's very well built and very easy to control. It costs a bit more but I think it's well worth it.
