"Does anyone have a recipe for sweet tea infused shine? A recipe they have actually tried & enjoy. Found some infused for vodka online, but dont want to ruin good hearts by experimenting haha
I was thinking of doing the infusion at 120 proof or proofing down to 80; or making the tea with distilled water and then using the tea to proof the liquor down.
I'm trying to make a jeremiah weed or sweet caroline clone. Thanks in advance."

I have seen some work with a sweet feed whiskey used in a sweet tea, orange pekoe leaf, brewed medium, sweetened with liquid cane sugar...

Clear SF Spirit - Completely unimpressive
Oaked - Better, yet the contrasts were not to my preferences

I have been doing some research with commercial Bourbons in sweet tea and seen some better results. I'm a fan of the southern mix of sweet tea and bourbon...Tryin' to cogitate how to replicate that .... :) The Jeremiah line is good, but I like a bit more stout with a sweet finish.
