I'm playing golf tomorrow in a work related tournament with the makers and distributors of Appleton Estate Rums. Do you think it would be a good time to bring up home distilling and our push for legalization? Weeelll... Maybe not. LOL

You may be surprised. Many of the "micro-distilleries" started as hobbyists that have taken it to the commercial level, so many actually support legaliation, as they were there once. You may want to gently test the waters to get a feeling for where they stand, and if it seems positive you can prod further.. if not, then just move on to other subjects. If they support the cause they may actually lean on their own contacts to assist.

I did not look at it that way. I'm guessing the distributor would be less sympathetic but Appleton the producers themselves may like the idea. If I can I will search them out. Thanks
