i just made a quick stripping run and want temp can i put it all back and re run it how long should i wait ?
what temp can you load and run the spirit run do you have to wait till it cools all the way off or not is my ?

I am pretty sure you need to add some water to that before running it again. Never charge yer works with more than 40% abv, or there is a possibility of explosion. I remember reading that at the HD new distiller lounge.
Other than that, the only qualifier is how much time you have... |

10/4 i added about a 1/2 gallon and saved about 2 gallons of my wash and put a gallon of 100 proof in and a 1/2 gallon of 120 proof and a bottle of wine i forgot to check it before i re fired all came out fine
i got one gallon of spirits
140 proof almost no smell and taste nice i might re run it one more time just to see what it does
the reason i did this was i had a batch that started out low
130 so i only collected a half gallon and the other gallon from the same corn wash finished off low
100 so i thought lets fix this and it worked
how would you tell if its going to blow or not without checking iis there a tell tail sign
ps next time i will check it lol i just wanted to get it re going again as quick as possible

I dunno, I'm still in 101, I haven't jumped into reruns yet.....I just remember I wrote it down in my study book when I was learning this and noted the site I got it from... I can't remember which thread.. sorry.. yea i kinda got it figured out its all a balancing act be it the first run or the second
but getting a head of ones self is not good if i was over 40 % i would have been in trouble and blown the top right off the boiler
