So after about 3 months of down time, I decided to do a run. Went outside to dig my worm out of the snow, and it's totally frozen inside. CRAP!!! LOL! Filled it with as much saltwater as it would hold and set her in the sun, we'll see how that goes. I don't really want to bring it in and thaw the whole thing, cuz the worm is encased in ice. Had my washes (5 gallons apple, 5 gallons corn) racked and ready this morning, and no go! Ah well, live and learn!

Well seeing that I was in a bit of a hurry, I loaded the worm with salt water, as much as I could fit in it, it cleared right up in a couple hours and I ran my corn mash. Turned out a full quart out of 2 gallons of mash. Nice.
