Mae 6gal sugar wash using prestige turbo 48. It stopped after 36 hrs. Real cloudy. Is now the time to use clearing agent sparkaloid?

Was thanked: 5 time(s) in 5 post(s)
"jctab,

Let it sit somewhere cool for a few days then rack it. It may clear on its own. If it doesn't clear up on its own a few days after racking you can try some sparkaloid. Some of my washes never get that crystal clear look, but it has never been a problem. My baker's yeast washes never really clear all the way.

Thanks JB, this will be my first run so I'm being a little inquisitive. I was amazed how fast the turbo yeast worked. I have a new8 gal pII and am excited to start running. Thank you for feedback.

Most sugar washes don't get crystal clear as JB said and sometimes, depending on how the wash was made, useing turbo the wash will be even cloudier.
If the yeast is caked on the bottom it should be Ok to run. Or as JB said use sparkaloid, which I like, or some other clearing agent, or let it sit for a couple days after racking to clear and then run.
