Hi Nitewrangler,
Welcome to the forum from the freezing cold north. What do you have for equipment, what kind of distilling are you doing?

Just getting going. I made a still from a 2 gal pressure cooker. Done some modding and added a 1/2 inch fitting to copper feeding the warm. Pretty basic setup. Doing the Corn variety. Made my first run the other day and got 90 proof at 175 degrees. Made my cuts and now waiting on some good input from other folks

Just the basics. Corn, sugar, yeast. All grocery store stuff. The end product was pretty good. had some friends sample some and they had no bad comments. Smells good too. Nice bit of warmth, smooth finish.I'm pleased so far but would like to get the proof up so I can cut it to what I want. Really enjoying this so far. And do you think a thump keg is benificial on a small setup
