"I have my 8 gallon pot still with an electric element installed by rick on the way and i have a question on running it electric.
-what is the ideal size element for this size kettle?

- i know doing the stripping run i can run it hot and fast but how would i control the heat for the spirit run? do i need to buy a controller to run it slow for the spirit run?"

What outlets do you have available 120v? 240v? What is the amp rating of the circuit you want to operate on?

Thanks for reply. I have you normal house outlets so I imagine its 120 v and I have no idea what the amp rating is on the circuit.

According to my circuit breaker it says 20 amp max.
