"I love coffee, black as sin and no sugar. So I was tinkering with the neutral spirits I've made and this has turned out to be a hit with me and friends:

I gallon of neutral spirits proofed to 90.

8 coffee scoops of fresh ground french roast

10 crushed allspice berries

One twist of black pepper grinder

10 drops vanilla extract

3 strips of toasted white oak (1/2 X 3 inch)

All dumped in a gallon glass jug with a screw top. Shake often and store on sunny window sill. Age at least one month.

Note this is NOT Kalua. No sugar at all added. Really good for sipping, and the wife loves it in her coffee and hot chocolate"
