"It's customary to add a redirect or a ""301"" message when you move a major resource on the web. It's mainly helpful for those who have the forums bookmarked or linked externally. Larger sites with lots of traffic will do it to keep a consistent experience. Not a huge deal but it's a nice thing to do for your users who may have old links bookmarked.

I apologize, but we just moved the site a couple of hours ago and have been making sure that everything was running smoothly. A re-direct has been put into place, so it should automatically take you to the new location in the future.
