"VERY interesting. I had no idea but pleasantly surprised. I just spent all last Saturday conducting demo rides for Triumph at the Capital City Bikefest. I had a blast. HD had their truck in from Milwaukee as well(of course) and it looked like a bee hive all day Saturday with groups of bikes going out on demo rides. We all did the same 20 mile course with lead and trailing riders on ""company"" bikes with anywhere from 5 to 12 folks trying out all of the latest models.

I'll post a pic later of that.

My ""baby"" in the foreground with two other Rockets at Deals Gap, Easter weekend 2010:)

"Nuts, can't brag on the looks of my Suzuki Savage and 2 Honda trail 90's. But they would let me leave all roads and paths and get back into the woods farther than others were willing to go and then haul the game out.

Totally getting away was my type of fun. And a bit of off road raceing."

Our neighbor just told me that he dropped his new Harley in the mountains this weekend. He and the wife are OK but the bike did not fare so well. Sad I hate to see anyone on any kind of bike drop it.

What size rear tire are you running and is it a Metz? The 240 Metz that a Rocket III takes on the rear runs over $300 each and for only 10K miles a lot of the Rocket owners are going ""Darkside"" and putting 225/55/16 car tires on. I may be nextOhMyGod. Ya can't carry much product on that sleek machine."
