"I want to start a sugar wash to distill some neutral but all I have around are some 5 gal. buckets that I've used for wine in the past. My 32L is tied up making a rum wash.

How much should I reduce the sugar & water quanity for use with Turbo 48 and should I still use the whole satchet of Turbo? I know theres got to be someone here using 5 gal buckets...

Thanks
John"

"hey john
What I would do is dissolve 20 pounds sugar into 4 gallons of hot water. then put two gallons of mix into another bucket. add 2 gallons of cold water to each bucket. split the turbo between the two buckets. it will take just a little longer but will have a good wash from it."
