is there any reason that i cant make a plastic parrot
all the info i have see and been told says that plastic is a no no
yet we filter throught a plastic filtering system
so is plastic ok
i have been using plastic parrot for some time i cant spell but i dont think thats the plastic
what do you think

In a word.. no - Not unless it is a chemically resistant plastic.

Etoh can leach chemicals from plastic that are bad... The hoses and such that Brewhaus supplies are all chemically resistant(HdpE) plastic.

The stainless steel parrot is worth every penny. (yes, I've one and no, I don't work for Brewhaus - I just buy stoofs from them)

you can make one out of copper from the local supplier for about $30 if you try
