hi all. just registered and my first post. im in new area and the water sucks! tastes like it comes out of a jiffy john! I have an old unit that I can use to distill my own water. what if anything should I do or add before I test a 1st. run? never had this problem before. for adjusting ph, will the tomato paste idea work?....thanks in advance.

what is your ph ? if you are trying to raise it you can use oyster shells which you can get from any feed store. The tomato paste is usually used for yeast nutrients in a sugar head
