Hey guys i have been doing this for alost 4 years now and just ran into a problem that i have never had before. This run has a faint bluish tint to it. Any ideas what would cause this? It smells and tastes fine just not crystal clear.

This is usually the result of excessive unused nutrients in the fermented wash, with a neutral to high pH, distilled with copper in the system. Research that I have done on this has given two results- that it is safe to consume and that it is not. For me personally, I would not take any chances.

"This happened to me once too, I know when Moonshiners was on they had this issue and they re-ran it, and of course they said it was great and by re-running it it cleared right up.
Now then, when this happened to me, I re-ran it also and poured it through a carbon filtrer, it did not get rid of the blue or make it taste better.
I too would dump it out but you said it smells and tastes fine so apparently you will dissagree."
