I usually made wine at home and I would say I made it very well. Red wine is my favorite it is because it is contains of simple process it is made from grape varieties. However, make sure that you maintain the good process specifically in following the fermentation.

I made wine for years and got the concentrate from France. That was many years ago and they had a chain of stores called Wine Art where you could buy everything you needed. My favorite was cabernet sauvignon and I would set it back a few years. One year I bought a car load of concord grapes and squeezed them after cleaning them of course, and I managed to get the ABV around 16-17%. It would sneak up on you because you didn't notice the alcohol. I had many sleepovers then. :)
