"I have just had ankle surgery and will be laid up for about 6 weeks, i have read about every post here and want to ask the experts here.

What would be you ultimate BH setup here. I have a shop that has 220v power.

I would like to stay around 1200.00 or less but could see 2000.00 if needed."

Hi Sawman,
Welcome and hope you a speedy recovery, the folks here are really helpful and informative, I am new to this my self and I have been doing a lot of reading, asking and learning. I am about to order what you are asking about " The ultimate BH setup " and from what most of those in the know say the Essential Extractor PSII High Capacity- Complete Distiller with the 15gal. kettle and have them install a 1" ntp fitting in the kettle for a hot water heater element is the way to go. I'm finally ordering mine this week! Hope this helps and if you have any more questions just ask and someone will help you out...

Hello Sawman, captinjack is correct. He and I are on the same page. I will be calling Brewhaus in the morning with my order. PSIIHC with modifications for internal heat.

Are you a handy man? If so I'd recommend building your own still. It's pretty simple for the most part..maybe build a simple pot still then possibly buy or build your own reflux head. I'm not discrediting by products they're great from hat I hear, but if you build you're own you'll learn more.

Hi sawman,
I think the electrically fired PS2HC with 15 gallon premium kettle is the top of the line for the Brewhaus stills. I got mine recently and posted pics in my "it's here" thread. This is a great set up and more than most of us will ever need. It is both a pot still and a relfux still with great build quality. Mine even with some custom work was just under 500 bucks. There are stills that will easily eat up your 2k but unless you are going commercial will probably never need.
