"Would it be worth the extra $60 and purchase the Essential Extractor PSII over just the Essential Extractor Pot Distiller even if I only plan on making whiskey?

Thanks ahead of time.."

you will want to make clear alcohol and experiment with liquors and diferent essences- i never thought of making anything but vodka and irish whiskey but after listening to what others tried i started modifying my vodka.

To me it would be worth spending the extra money and get the PSII HC, the extra money you spend up front you'll save in time down the road. Just my 2 cents...

Excellent, thank you. One more question do you have to run the reflux portion during a regular pot run, or can you leave it out of the picture?

X2 on the PS2HC, and if you get the 15 gallon kettle you'll have total versatility

How difficult is it to run the reflux portion ? I like to keep things simple.

Hi Maverick,
Welcome to the forum. Take a visit to our introductions forum and tell us a bit about yourself. Once you understand how to run it it is easy to the point of boredome. Be sure to set aside several hours to do a run and never leave your rig while it is running. Lots of great information on this forum and the many reading sources suggested by our members.
