Default Keg with a gooseneck

Well here she is, same boiler diff. tower. The gooseneck is 2" copper about 18" tall. I'm cooking off a sweetfeed mash for sour mash in these pics. I just metered it (again) and whilst in heatup it pulls 115 volts (8.7amps) and when it's cooking and turned down to keep it at 81C. it pulls 87 volts (6.2amps). So any 110 receptical thats not dedicated to your wahsing machine or deep freeze will handle the job.

In the previous pics..the stand that the keg is on is for the other boiler which is gas operated. Of course all the setup is made for that stand so I just kept going with it. Although I did use the gas during heatup so I could get up there pretty quick. It takes about 15-20mins to get to 65C-75C so I can get ready to put it on variable and control the input. Thats damn quick for 4.5 gallons of mash to get to that temp. Once again the router controller with electric is easy to run and pretty safe so far. With this setup -- at least I can make a restroom run and NOT hurry.

Spraybomb, did you ever get your still put together??? I have used mine for a sourmash and I'm on the 3rd generation as of this scribe. The electric is so easy and consistant with the heat flow it kinda makes fun again eventhough its 105 freekin degrees (I'm in S Fl). Just wonderin if you got all you stuff together??
