    Can i reuse my rum mash?? Ive been reading a few things about it, I always threw mine away

    What do you want to use it for???????? Theres no alcohol left in it after you still it. And besides it prolly tastes like shit. I know it smells like shit after its run through the cooker.

    If you're talking about useing it for your next batch, yes you can thats where you start to develop a better flavor and smoothness

    Oh - my mistake, when you said mash I had a brain fart --- what you want to use is called rum dunder or backset, (whats left over after stillin) and yes you can use that for your next wash. Usually they recomend about 20% of your next wash be the backset and then the regular wash mixture. It does add some goodness to the next wash.
